AirLife, a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of consumable medical devices for anesthesia and respiratory care, was recently named the 2026 Med/Surg Supplier of the Year by HealthTrust Performance Group. The award was announced live on stage at HTU26 (HealthTrust University is HealthTrust’s largest annual supplier event) in front of nearly 3,000 people.HealthTrust is anchored by HCA, the largest for-profit hospital system in the world, and it’s the fastest-growing, most influential Group Purchasing Organization in the United States. Getting recognized at their level is as good as it gets in our industry.
Additionally, AirLife has been awarded the Routine Respiratory Disposables agreement with Captis, a dual-source award shared with Medline. Effective September 1, 2025, SensiMedical’s inhalation water will be removed from the contract, giving AirLife sole source access to Captis and MS Commit members for inhalation water, as Medline’s product is not clinically preferred by Captis CQVA. This win requires those members to purchase inhalation water from AirLife and is projected to deliver around $5 million in value, with added conversion potential. These achievements reflect the outstanding work of Derrick Tsou (Director, Health Systems) and Tyler Hoehn (Senior Director, Commercial Strategy and Alignment), whose leadership in product trials and strategy alignment was key to securing these awards.
