Air-Q®3 for Neonates

Air-Q®3 is available with the smallest supraglottic airway for your most fragile infant patients. The size 0 and 0.5 comes in all four Air-Q3 styles. The self-pressuring option allows for insertion and ventilation with no additional steps and the gastric access version helps with secretions and air in the stomach.

Air-Q®3 Suited for Neonatal Patients

The advanced, silicone Air-Q®3 helps deliver safety and confidence in neonatal airway management, no matter what airway challenges you face. The unique ET tube ramp and epiglottis elevator aid in fast, easy, and safe intubations.

Four Models for a Range of Intubation Requirements

Air-Q®3

Provides exceptional ease of ETT placement when unexpected intubation is required.

Air-Q®sp3

Features a self-pressuring cuff that utilizes positive pressure ventilatory source. Automatically inflates to patient-specific, optimized pressure to form a seal.

Air-Q®3G

Features an extra wide gastric inlet access and two gastric channels.

Air-Q®sp3G

Features an extra wide gastric inlet access and two gastric channels. Also includes a self-pressurizing cuff that utilizes positive pressure ventilatory source.

Unique

Air-Q®3 for infants is one of the only Supraglottic Airway available in sizes 0 and 0.5. One of the only brands of Supraglottic Airway that has sizing for the smallest, most fragile patients. For infants weighing 2-4kg, use Air-Q3 size 0.5, and for neonates less than 2.0kg, use size 0. Air-Q3 features an all-silicone construction with an anatomical curve to aid in ease of placement. An epiglottis elevator lifts the epiglottis to maximize glottic opening.

NRP

The Air-Q®3 can be placed with ease as a rescue airway device or as a conduit for endotracheal intubation during neonatal resuscitation. “The laryngeal mask makes a better seal than a face mask and may improve the effectiveness of ventilation. Unlike endotracheal intubation, no instruments are required to insert a laryngeal mask and you do not need to visualize the baby’s vocal chords during insertion.”

Comfort

Air-Q®3 for infants builds clinician confidence and comfort. Neonatal and infant airway management presents unique challenges that can shake the confidence of the most seasoned clinicians. However, Air-Q3’s exceptional ease of use helps alleviate clinician stress while ensuring successful airway placement in the smallest of patients, even in emergency situations. The epiglottis elevator provides the lift needed for near-perfect placement and the soft, all-silicone construction is ideal when managing the most fragile airways.

Specialized for Success

“Our neonatal team responded to the delivery of full-term Baby H who was difficult to resuscitate due to thick meconium blocking his upper airway, thus making it challenging to visualize his airway. The team obtained the 0.5 Air-Q3 and successfully resuscitated the patient. He was able to wean quickly from ventilatory support and is now being held and loved by his parents with no respiratory support and no oxygen needs. I cannot thank all of you enough for helping us have the necessary equipment on hand and our neonatal team for stepping up to utilize the Air-Q3 per the 8th edition neonatal resuscitation guidelines.”
